Jesus tells us to go out and make disciples of all nations and we at LifePoint do this by spreading the love of Christ through meeting the tangible and relational needs alongside various Christ-centered nonprofits both locally and globally. We believe every opportunity to share the love of Jesus is a crucial part of discipleship and we believe when we “leave the building”, we become missionaries through generosity, love and/or teaching those who are in need in our community and around the world.
Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. Matthew 28:19-20

LOCAL MISSIONS
Awaken
Awaken is a local faith-based non-profit organization whose mission is to increase awareness and education surrounding the issue of commercial sexual exploitation and to provide housing and restoration for its victims. LifePoint comes alongside AWAKEN through providing financial gifts and shopping, and deliveries for their various holiday celebrations as well as educational and volunteer connections.
City of Refuge
City of Refuge exists to provide a safe place for women to live who have chosen life for their baby. The women learn life skills, parenting skills, and are provided with opportunities to learn how to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. The organization provides young women with the model of a Christ-centered family life! We support City of Refuge financially, with volunteer work, and bi-annual work days on their ranch.
FISH
FISH (Friends in Service Helping) provides food, training, clothing, shelter, and medical aid to the under-employed, homeless, and hungry within our community, with the objective to train and refer families and individuals so they may become self-sufficient. LifePoint comes alongside FISH with volunteering opportunities and participates in their annual sock and gloves need every January.
Northern Nevada Dream Center
The Northern Nevada Dream Center was created out of a vision to bring relief and God’s love to residents and the homeless in our local communities. LifePoint supports the Northern Nevada Dream Center through churchwide financial and volunteer support!
Life Choices
Life Choices is a faith-based organization that provides services and counseling for young women who choose life for their unborn babies. LifePoint shares volunteer needs as they arise and participates in their annual baby bottle-boomerang fundraiser.
At LifePoint, we believe that we are directly obeying and loving Jesus Christ when we give to and care for the poor through local and global missional opportunities.

GlOBAL MISSIONS
JOSIAH VENTURE
This is the vision of Josiah Venture, a vision for a movement of God among the youth of Central and Eastern Europe and finds its home in the local church and transforms society. Their mission and calling is to equip young leaders to fulfill Christ’s commission by reaching and making disciples. More than just conversion, they want to see passionate followers of Jesus Christ, with a vision to reach and disciple their generation for Him. LifePoint provides monthly financial support and opportunities for a yearly missions trip.
WHEN I GROW UP
When I Grow Up is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children out of extreme poverty. Their mission is to ensure that no child in the world needs to live in extreme poverty. Through your donations, children are able to attend school at no cost to them. They receive not only a school uniform but a daily feeding program, textbooks, tutoring, and health/social support for free. LifePoint provides monthly financial support, financial support for their onsight nurse, and provides opportunity for mission trips.
